OUR AIMS & OBJECTIVE

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

To cater for the general welfare of its members. To equip member(s) on such issues as the economy, social integration, academic progress and after-school activities.
To stimulate greater intra and inter departmental interactions.
To organize such activities such as symposia, lectures, seminars, and sporting activities aimed at promoting scope of knowledge of the members.
To bridge the communication gap between students of Economics and related disciplines and lecturers on one hand, and other formal Economic organizations, groups, or ministries on the other hand;
Toomote research in order to ensure efficiency in learning and understanding of Economics discipline
Toarticipate in governmental, non-governmental, regional and international activities in order to ensure economic progress of Nigeria, Africa and the World at large
To protect the interest of the members of the Association.

Income;-

Donation on Abuja's visit - #18,500

Donation on NOUN Registration with NESA NATIONAL - #7,500 TOTAL = #26,000

Expenses:-

-Letter typing/Headed design/Logo - #2,000

-Welfare - #1,500

-NESF MIS - #3,000

-NEC TO OSHOGBO- #2,000

-REGISTRATION with NESA NATIONAL -#15,000

-NEC MEETING(Lagos) -#2,000

-MISCELLANEOUS - #500

TOTAL EXPENSES - #26000.00k

The Balance transfer for the month of February to March is #0.00k We want to appreciate all members who in one way or the other donated

MERRY CHRISTMAS & A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE. On behalf of the entire Society(NESF NWC) I congratulate all our fellows who are Christians on this occasion, let's not forget to be a good ambassador of His words.

We are glad to inform you all that have launched our temporary site www.nounesf.blogspot.com which all our members across all study centres can visit and register as a full member of the society/forum on nounesf.blogspot.com/p/members-registrat.html (upon Registration you receive your membership Registration Number). *2017/2018 Expectations*

For the upcoming year, Our members should expect a lot from us. Such as

-Conferences

-Seminars

-Elections

-Exemplary Events

-Social Activities

-Uniform

-Visitations To Centres

-Identity Card and many more.

Also We should note that our members will be attending 3 NESA NATIONAL EVENTS (NAEE- National Association for Energy Economics) -April 2018 in Abuja

NES ..Nigerian Economic Society- September 2018 in Abuja) NESA - (Nigerian Economics Students Association) National conference - rotated round the six Geo political zones...October 2018 in any selected Geo Political Zone).

Furthermore, all the events line up won't be achieve without your input and encouragement. We implore you(members) all to please support all this reforms because it will grow our individual ability and give a name to the institution(NOUN) as a whole.

And also we encourage our members to donate in one way or the other. In other hand all the NWC should please work as a team so that we can achieve the fit.

Once again we wish you compliments of the season and we pray that May the magic of Christmas gladden your heart with the joys of the season.
